國民黨主席朱立倫今天在全代會閉幕致詞說，國民黨最困難時刻「沒有團結就沒有力量」，國民黨以經濟、民主奇蹟開創台灣社會，讓兩岸和平發展，這項艱鉅任務唯有國民黨能做到。
國民黨全代會今天順利通過立法院副院長洪秀柱為總統提名人。朱立倫在閉幕致詞時，感謝在場各位在國民黨最需要反省、最需要溫暖、最需要義無反顧、往前邁進的時刻，大家坐在一起、心在一起。
他重申，在國民黨最困難時刻，「沒有團結就沒有力量」，每一位黨員同志都必須團結在一起，對黨、對國家付出深切的關懷和力量。
朱立倫說，自他擔任黨主席以來，聽到來自四面八方的基層鼓勵與打氣，「國民黨會再起」，不會忘記初衷，更不會卸下責任，會為台灣的光榮驕傲奮戰打拚到每一刻。朱立倫也說，此時此刻是行動的開始，國民黨要用行動告訴民眾，國民黨是建設台灣、捍衛中華民國的政黨，國民黨以經濟奇蹟開創台灣富裕，以民主奇蹟促成台灣整體開放，現在兩岸和平更保障台海安全。
他說，經濟、民主、和平是國民黨強項，是數十年來持續努力具體成果，台灣現在和未來來都需要靠國民黨努力，但這些還不夠，必須更努力，經濟更向前發展，並均享社會的每個角落；不但要深化民主，更要讓民主不會淪為民粹，讓民主成為捍衛國家大是大非力量。
朱立倫表示，國民黨不但要讓兩岸和平，讓兩岸相互尊重、扶持的力量，也要讓和平成為兩岸人民安居樂業的基石，而這項艱鉅任務唯有中國國民黨能夠做到，國民黨不能輕忽這一份責任。
「我們要往哪裡走？台灣要往哪裡走？」朱立倫說，答案很清楚，國民黨要讓所有台灣人民生活更平安，往更美好的方向走，往和平的道路走。
